Maailma esireket Simona Halep kindlustas endale esimesena koha hooaja lõpus toimuvale WTA finaalturniirile.

Halep pääses finaalturniirile viiendat korda järjest.

Tänavune hooaja lõputurniir peetakse 21.-28. oktoobrini Singapuris.
